Indiana Wesleyan University will welcome nearly 1,000 high school students and guests to campus Saturday April 10th to host the 49th annual FUSION event (https://www.indwes.edu/fusion). The event looks different this year, as it is a one-day event where guests can join in-person, gathering safely and with a new socially distanced format. FUSION is designed to help students experience the love of Christ, sense His power at work, and begin a life transformed.
FUSION will feature a group of artist and speakers, headlined by Cory Asbury and KB. Cory Asbury’s song "Reckless Love" was nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song in the 2019 Grammy Awards. His third studio album, To Love a Fool, was released on July 31, 2020, which featured the singles “The Father’s House,” “Sparrows,” and “Dear God.” On September 25, 2020, KB released his fourth studio album His Glory Alone, which featured the singles "Armies,” "10K,” and "Lil Boy.” These singers will be joined by speaker and artist George Moss, pastor Alana Herington and event DJ Iman Tucker.
This one-day event will have three distinct sessions, led by a team of IWU students involved in every aspect of the conference. Over 200 student volunteers will be present at FUSION to ensure attendees have a powerful experience.
“FUSION has always been about students at IWU leading this event. That’s what makes the heart of this gathering so special. It’s IWU students caring for the next generation,” said Charlie Alcock, Chaplain and Director of Youth Ministry Events and Assistant Professor.
