Indiana Wesleyan University, which has a generous transfer policy for adult and online students, has announced that it will offer a tuition discount and assess all credits for Cincinnati Christian University (CCU) students who are left searching for options after CCU announced that they will be closing in January.
IWU will accept the transfer of 100% of CCU undergraduate semester hours from 100-level courses or higher if the student earned a grade of “C” or higher. For graduate level programs, courses will be evaluated for equivalency and CCU students can transfer in up to 75% of IWU’s program requirements.
Additionally, IWU will extend a 15% tuition reduction to CCU displaced students until January 2021.
Students interested in completing a degree at the IWU-Marion campus will be eligible for institutional scholarships and grants of at least a 15% tuition discount based on eligibility requirements. These scholarships are renewable past January 2021 based on eligibility requirements.
Additionally, IWU will extend a 15% tuition reduction to CCU displaced students on degrees offered through online/adult education and Wesley Seminary until January 2021.
For students who live in the Cincinnati area, IWU has a local regional education center so students can benefit from face-to-face instruction and support as they maneuver this transition. IWU’s online programs are an excellent option as well.
IWU-National & Global — a nonprofit, regionally accredited institution — currently has about 10,000 adult students attending classes either online or at one of IWU’s 14 education centers located in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. IWU’s online students come from all over the United States as well as other countries.
The university has more than 80 online and onsite degree programs available. Students who are interested in learning more about IWU’s online or onsite degree programs may begin their evaluation process by calling 1-866-498-4968.
