Indiana Wesleyan University will welcome nearly 1,000 high school students and their adult sponsors to campus April 5-6 as it hosts its 47th annual FUSION. The annual event is a two-day high school youth conference dedicated to providing a space for students to grow closer to God. FUSION is designed to help students experience the love of Christ, sense His power at work and begin a life transformed.
FUSION’s Friday night concert will feature for KING & COUNTRY. The sold-out concert will have approximately 3,600 attendees and is open to the public. The two-time GRAMMY ® award-winning duo, comprised of brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone, has garnered four No. 1 hits, nine Top 10 hits, and had songs featured on the Emmys, Super Bowl and Sunday Night Football.
High school conference attendees will stay on the IWU campus through Saturday where they will participate in worship, various seminars and recreational activities. Main sessions will feature Jeff Wallace, who is a nationally known author, urban ministry communicator, innovator and leader. He serves as the executive director of the LIFT Tour and the Youth Pastor’s Summit for Student Leadership University.
FUSION is led by a team of IWU students who are involved in every aspect of the conference. In fact, over 400 student volunteers will be present at FUSION to ensure attendees have an incredible experience.
“FUSION has always been about students at IWU leading this event. That’s what makes the heart of this conference so special. It is IWU students caring for the next generation,” said Charlie Alcock, director of youth ministry events. “How amazing that this university would not only care for the Church like this, but allow our students to engage at such a high ministry level.”
