Indiana Wesleyan University will welcome approximately 500 admitted students to the residential campus in Marion, Indiana, for Admitted Student Weekend on March 16-17.
The special event is designed for all high school seniors who have been accepted for admission at IWU. Attendees will have the opportunity to be first in line for class registration, meet fellow classmates, participate in informational sessions and attend the Wildcat Bash. Additionally, those who register for classes will be in the first round of housing assignments.
The Wildcat Bash will take place on Saturday evening and will include dinner, a tip-off party, games and an open house tour of the residence halls. Students will also have the opportunity to win prizes, such as a $2,000 scholarship.
Students will stay overnight in residence halls. The weekend will close with a worship service on Sunday.
“ASW is a great opportunity for students to experience life as a Wildcat before actually living on campus,” said Katy Smith, associate director of admissions. “It’s a unique event where the whole campus pulls together to make this a welcoming and wonderful experience for our incoming students and families. It’s one of the best times of the year!”
