1920 Gallery, located in the Barnes Student Center at Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU), is hosting the second annual “Grant Co. Makers” art exhibit that features artwork made by Grant County residents and current students of Taylor University and IWU. Through this exhibit, 1920 Gallery hopes to unite individual artists, arts organizations as well as celebrate the growing creative community in Grant County.
Grant County residents of all ages are welcome to enter up to five pieces of artwork that are 12 by 12 inches. Artworks can be submitted for consideration until Friday, March 8. For information on artwork requirements and how to submit, visit www.the1920gallery.org/callforentry/.
The exhibit will open with a reception on Tuesday, April 2 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and remain on view until April 27.
“Last year we were able to meet so many of the talented creatives from our community through this exhibit,” said Sophie Stewart, 1920 Gallery Fellow. “It was incredibly energizing to see the gallery filled to the brim with artwork. We are excited for year two of this event!”
1920 Gallery serves the IWU, Grant County, and Council for Christian Colleges and Universities communities by providing a student-centered art space to foster interdisciplinary dialogue about art, faith and human flourishing. For more information, visit www.the1920gallery.org.
