Indiana Wesleyan University’s Student Activity Council (SAC) will host the Back-to-School Luau on Monday, Sept. 3 to celebrate the start of classes. The luau will take place from 2-4 p.m. on the lawn between Hodson Hall and Evans Hall.
The evening will be filled with food and games. Students will be able to enjoy refreshments from a Kona Ice truck, giant Jenga and other lawn games, a beach volleyball tournament, multiple prizes and a Campus Police dunk tank.
“SAC is excited to kick off the year with the Back-to-School Luau!” said Kylie Ryan, student marketing director for SAC. “We love providing an opportunity to start the semester with a fun, relaxed event that brings our community together before classes begin.”
The Student Activities Council is a student-led group that exists to bring fun and engaging events to the students of IWU. Its mission is to create and implement events and opportunities that enrich the college experience through intellectual, social and spiritual development.
