Indiana Wesleyan University will welcome approximately 500 admitted students to the residential campus in Marion, Indiana, for Admitted Student Weekend on March 17-18.
The special event is designed for all high school seniors who have been accepted for admission at IWU. Attendees will have the opportunity to be first in line for class registration, meet fellow classmates, participate in informational sessions and attend the Wildcat Bash. Additionally, those who register for classes will be in the first round of housing assignments.
The Wildcat Bash will take place on Saturday evening and will include dinner, a tip-off party, games and an open house tour of the residence halls. Students will also have the opportunity to win prizes, such as a $2,000 scholarship.
Students will stay overnight in residence halls. The weekend will close with a worship service on Sunday.
“Admitted Student Weekend is a great opportunity for accepted students because it’s the best chance to experience life as a Wildcat before arriving in the fall,” said Katy Smith, assistant director of admissions. “I love that the whole campus community comes together for this event to make this a wonderful experience for our new students. I’m so excited for these 500 students to arrive on campus and spend the weekend with us making the transition to the Wildcat family!”
