The Indiana Wesleyan University community will gather tonight in the Globe Theatre for a Final 4 Watch Party to support the IWU men’s basketball team that has advanced to the semifinals of the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship. Admission is free.
This is the program’s third consecutive national semifinal game and fourth in five years. Tonight at 7 p.m., the No. 1-seed Wildcats will take on another No. 1 seed: IU East.
“We are so different now and so are they,” said Coach Greg Tonagel when asked about tonight’s game against IU East. “They are No. 1 in the country and haven’t lost since November. They are really quick and they have great guard play. It will be a great battle.”
The NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship began on March 7 and runs through March 13 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
