Indiana Wesleyan University’s 1920 Gallery, located in Barnes Student Center in Marion, Indiana, will host an art exhibit titled “Grant County Makers” on Feb. 28-March 29 that features artwork created by Grant County residents and current students of Taylor University and IWU. Through this exhibit, 1920 Gallery hopes to unite individual artists and art organizations to celebrate the growing creative community in Grant County.
Submissions will be accepted until Friday, Feb. 16 and should be emailed to the1920gallery@gmail.com. All Grant Co. residents of all ages are welcome to submit. The exhibit will open with a reception Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 5-7 p.m. and will remain on view until March 29. It is free of charge and open to the public.
“My hope is that this event will provide a platform for the creatives in our community to share their work and meet other artists,” said Sophie Stewart, 1920 Art Gallery Fellow. “I'm eager to continue to grow our creative community!”
