Tim Hawkins, a Christian comedian known for his quick comedic wit and funny song parodies, will be performing at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 at Indiana Wesleyan University. The show will also feature special guest and fellow comedian John Branyan.
Since giving up his job as a grocery truck driver in 2002, Hawkins has continued to climb in popularity as a comedian. His standup material touches on the perils of marriage, homeschooling, growing up in the Midwest and more. He also uses his singing voice and guitar chops to perform humorous parodies on popular songs. His YouTube renditions that remain fan favorites include “The Chick-fil-A Song,” “Yoga Pants,” “Cletus Take the Reel” and “The Government Can.” Hawkins lives in Missouri with his wife and four children.
The show will take place in the Chapel Auditorium on IWU’s residential campus in Marion, Indiana. Ticket prices are as follows:
