Grants and Scholarships from Outside Sources
Special Rules
Federal regulations require students to notify us of any outside scholarships they will receive and that we consider these funds when calculating financial aid eligibility. Be assured that we make changes to a student's awards package only when required. Scholarships will show in a "pending" status until funds are received from the entity administering the scholarship. If a check is sent directly to you, federal regulations require that you send it to the financial aid office to ensure proper credit to your account.

Beware of student aid scams! Be leery of any scholarship application that asks for your social security number or personal financial information or requires any type of payment.
