Overview of the Online MS Christian School Education Program

Around the world, the field of Christian school education requires unique educator development for this setting. If you see your career arc fitting within a Christian school context now and for the foreseeable future, the Master of Science in Christian School Education is designed for you.

Our program is offered wholly online, and is housed within a (US) nationally accredited school of education. As such, it combines the best pedagogical knowledge and practices of teacher and administrator development for any school context with a specific focus on the philosophy, faith integration, and role modeling necessary in a Christian school. What could this degree do for you?

  • Provide graduate training with an optimal mix of Christian and public education knowledge bases
  • Allow the study and improvement of the teaching of your own students through action research
  • Network with and learn alongside colleagues working in Christian and public education around the globe

This program is designed to serve anyone who wants deeper training in the development of curriculum, assessment, and instruction. This includes current and aspiring teachers and administrators of Christian schools, both in the U.S. and around the world.

The program consists of 12 courses (36 credit hours) and is fully online, with each course lasting eight weeks and offered in English or Spanish language. Texts only published in English but can be translated online. Residents outside the United States will be responsible for acquiring their own textbooks.

*This program does not lead to teacher or administrative licensure in the United States.
