Overview
Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science with a major in Business Management have the option of adding an online Human Resource Management specialization to their degree. With this option, students will be equipped to fill the role of educated professionals, demonstrate an alignment of knowledge and skills with Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) standards for Human Resource professionals, and complete partial preparation for taking a Human Resources certification exam (with actual certification subject to additional requirements, such as work experience).

Applicable fees for resources and services will be assessed throughout the program. Tuition and fees for prerequisites and required elective courses are in addition to the charges shown on the program cost sheet. Your tuition rate will remain the same as long as you remain continuously enrolled in the same program. DISCOUNTS: Competency Based Education (CBE) Tuition - $2500/term - Student can take as many courses as they want in each term.

Students must also complete a statistics course (100 level or equivalent) to satisfy the foundational business course requirements in order to comply with SHRM guidelines.
NOTE: Students must take HRM-435, HRM-490, HRM-470 and HRM-494 prior to taking ADM-495.

REQUIREMENTS

- Proof of high school graduation or GED certification.
- Original transcripts from all previous college or university study at a college or university that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by both the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Prior completion of at least 60 transferable credit hours is required before the student is eligible to start a bachelor core program. A maximum of 40 hours of credit may be earned through the assessed learning process toward the required 60.
- Documentation of three-years supervisory and/or managerial experience (only required for the competency based modality).
- Completion of 120 semester hours.
- Completion of the required core courses with a GPA of 2.25 or higher.
- Overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- Completion of 30 hours of General Education Requirements as specified.
- Payment of all tuition and fees is required to receive a diploma.
