Did you know Teachworthy completion provides you with 15 semester credit-hours of advanced standing in the Master of Science (MS) in Teaching programs at IWU? You will be recognized as having satisfied the Transition to Teaching admission requirements for the MS in Teaching programs in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Secondary Teaching.

To get started, you must:

  • Submit the certificate of completion from the Teachworthy Alternative Licensure Program.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
  • Submit a valid teacher’s license from the state of Texas or another state.
  • Meet all other requirements for admission into an IWU Master of Science in Teaching program as outlined in the IWU catalog.
