The Ohio Teaching Certificate - High Ability Learning program provides an 18 credit hour post-baccalaureate course of study for teachers seeking to obtain an Ohio high ability learning license to serve the high ability student population. Candidates completing the 18 credit hour program gain content and pedagogical content knowledge related to professional teaching standards for serving high ability students. Upon successful completion of all course work and the state-required licensure examination, candidates are eligible for a P-12 high ability (i.e., gifted/ talented) teaching license in the state of Ohio.
