Filing deadline: | Preferred FAFSA filing deadline is March 15, but funds are often exhausted as early as the first week of February due to the high number of FAFSAs received. Students should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1. |

Eligibility requirements: | Students must be Kentucky residents in an undergraduate program who show financial need and are eligible for federal student financial aid. |
EFC eligibility range: | Determined annually by the State |
Enrollment requirements: | Eligible students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours between July 1 and December 31 (fall term) and/or January 1 and June 30 (spring term) for the KTG. A part-time award (6-11 credit hours) may be available for the CAP grant. |
Grade-level eligibility: | Available to undergraduate students seeking their first undergraduate degree |
Special rules: | Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours of courses for the term taken at a site located within Kentucky in order for online courses to count toward the credit hour requirement |
Costs this aid can cover: | May be applied toward anything in the student's Cost of Attendance, not limited to tuition and fees |
