Award amounts:

2023-2024 award year: $2,000-$12,400 base award.

2022-2023 award year: $650-$9,200 base award.

Various student performance incentives also may be available.

Filing deadline: Must file the FAFSA by April 15 for the following fall award
Application process: Must have valid year-appropriate FAFSA on file
Eligibility requirements: Students must be Indiana residents in a degree-seeking program who have not already earned a bachelor's degree, show financial need, and are eligible for federal student financial aid. Additionally, students must not have met the maximum lifetime eligibility, which is the equivalent of 4 years.
Renewal requirements:

Students must file the FAFSA for the next award year and make corrections by the appropriate deadlines. Additionally, students must successfully complete at least 24 credit hours within the student-specific 12-month period for which the prior Indiana State Grant award was made.  Students must continue to meet all eligibility requirements.

EFC eligibility range:

2023-2024 award year: $0-$8,500

2022-2023 award year: $0-$8,500

Enrollment requirements:

Eligible students must be enrolled full-time for each student-specific Indiana State Grant term.

Grade-level eligibility: Available to undergraduate students seeking their first undergraduate degree
Special rules: Final award amounts are determined by actual program tuition cost per credit hour
Costs this aid can cover: May be applied toward tuition only
