Indiana Wesleyan University's online Business Administration degree program is designed to enable graduates to evaluate strategic solutions to organizational issues within diverse business and economic situations applying critical-thinking, financial and managerial knowledge. Multiple communication media and technologies will be evaluated to design appropriate business strategies for organizational and global business conditions. Students will integrate biblical principles and generate ethical solutions to business challenges.
Students pursuing this program also have the option of adding a Human Resources Management specialization to their Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Those who complete this option will be equipped to fill the role of educated and credentialed HR professionals, demonstrate an alignment of knowledge and skills with Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) standards for Human Resources professionals, and be prepared to take the SHRM certification exam (with actual certification subject to additional SHRM requirements such as work experience).
The B.S.B.A. (or B.S.M.) programs may be completed online or onsite at our Christian university locations in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. The HR specialization is available online only. A minor in Management is available to Indiana, Ohio and online students who are pursuing a non-Management Bachelor's degree through IWU.
If you have not yet obtained your Associate degree but already have 36 to 59 credit hours of previous college coursework, IWU's unique Bridge program can allow you to immediately start working toward your undergraduate degree.
