God calls on us all in his own way. Some are called to help guide businesses. Some are called to help people heal through health care services. And some are called to ministry - to lead others in matters of faith and guidance.
To become an effective minister, you need to develop a firm foundation in Christ and the Scriptures that help us make the right choices and guide our lives. At our Christian university, we can help you learn the life and leadership skills you need to become an effective minister.
Our Christian Ministries Associate degree program gives students an understanding of a Christian worldview and biblical morality from a Wesleyan-Arminian perspective. Graduates of this Ministry degree online program will be prepared to undertake entry-level ministry positions in the Wesleyan church, other Christian churches and para-church organizations, or to proceed on to bachelor-level work in Ministry or Biblical Studies.
The A.S. program meets many academic and practicum requirements for licensing and/or ordination in many denominations. Within The Wesleyan Church, this Associate degree fulfills four of six education requirements for District Licensure and more than half of the academic requirements for ordination. It can also be used as a degree completion program for students hoping to move from an undergraduate program to a more advanced degree.
This adult education program may be completed online, or onsite at locations in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Getting your Associate's in Christian Ministries is a great foundation for obtaining a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies, a Bachelor's in Ministry or even moving on to a graduate program and earning your Master's of Divinity, which can help you advance in your career.
