Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) Grant
What is it? | The Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training (BHWET) is an inter-departmental grant offered to SON PMHNP and Graduate Counseling students so they can serve in underserved and high needs areas utilizing trauma-informed care. |

Why apply? | The BHWET grant provides trauma-informed care training as well as culturally responsive care that enhances future practice. |
How much? | The BHWET grant awards $10,000 to five PMHNP recipients and ten Graduate Counseling students every year. |
Eligibility requirements? | The applicant must be completing their first masters degree, be willing to serve in a high needs and/or underserved clinical location, complete weekly check-ins during their clinicals, and be willing to complete a survey of the grant experience one year after completion of the PMHNP program. |
