Biography
Jill Steinke graduated from Marion College in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in nursing. After graduation, she moved from her hometown of Fairmount,
Mrs. Steinke is involved in the IWU-Shenyang Medical College SON (China) academic/cultural exchange program. She has hosted Chinese faculty in her home and has traveled with the IWU students to China for their transcultural practicum in 2012. Additionally, she led a transcultural practicum to Grenada in 2013.
Jill has been married to Dave, a pastor, since 1985. Their two daughters are students at IWU; Ellen is a biology major and Beth is studying business.

- The use of simulation in nursing education
- Quality and Safety in Nursing Education (QSEN) - QSEN Institute Scholarship recipient; QSEN Overview presentation given at the 2012 Innovations in Nursing Education Conference.
