Biography
Dr. Paul Truman Richardson holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering, Master of Science in management, Master of Arts in advanced leadership studies, and a Doctor of Education in organizational leadership. Dr. Richardson currently serves as Associate Director, Program Development in the DeVoe School of Business. Dr. Richardson leads program and course development efforts; writes business and leadership courses, and teaches adult onsite and online business and leadership courses. He seeks to further quality improvements in leadership studies dissertations based upon his dissertation that examined the quality of leadership studies dissertations. Before coming to IWU, Dr. Richardson served in a number of vice-presidential, executive leadership positions with different manufacturing companies. Dr. Richardson also led successful program and product development teams for residential heating equipment manufacturers. Dr. Richardson is an early-career entrepreneur; is co-inventor of a first-of-its-kind residential gas furnace, and co-holder of two U.S. patents.
Interests
Dr. Paul Truman Richardson's scholarship and research interests are in project and program development, business and leadership topics, innovation and the entrepreneurial eco-system, and leadership studies dissertation quality aspects.
