Biography

Dr. McGill serves as an adjunct faculty member, having formerly served for six years as a Regional Dean at Indiana Wesleyan University. Her first position was in human services as a social services coordinator. A Fulbright award recipient, Jenny has worked ten years in international education and intercultural consulting with clients and students from over sixty nations. With interdisciplinary lenses, she researches the intersection of religion, culture, and identity with a focus on ethnic minorities. Her work has been featured by the Institute for International Education, the Institute for Policy Studies, and in academic journals such as the Journal of Studies in International Education, Visual Studies, and Global Missiology, among others. Her books include Religious Identity and Cultural Negotiation and The Self Examined. Travel for community service, teaching, and research has taken her to thirty countries on six continents.
