Biography
Dr. Dana Hill is an assistant professor for the MPH Program in the School of Health Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Public Health with an emphasis in epidemiology from Walden University. Dana also holds a Master of Nursing degree from Western Governors University.
Dr. Hill has over 35 years of combined experience in nursing, leadership, and public health. Her experiences include bedside nursing, infection control, quality improvement positions, leadership, and teaching. Dana has 8 years of teaching experience with most of that time in an online environment.
Some of Dana’s professional affiliations during her career include and have included: Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE); American Public Health Association; Toastmasters International; Association for Professional in Infection Control (APIC); National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ). She has also served as an examiner and editor for the Arkansas Governors Quality Awards and held leadership positions in her local APIC and Toastmasters associations.
