Biography

Dr. Cindy Briggs serves as an assistant professor in Business Management in the DeVoe Division of Business at Indiana Wesleyan University. She currently teaches Foundations of Business, Management Principles, and Business Statistics. Prior to joining IWU, Dr. Briggs has been a full-time faculty member at Salt Lake Community College (UT) and Collin College (TX). Her research areas have focused on the blurring of lines between for-profit and nonprofit organizations, along with leadership topics. She has held several leadership positions in nonprofit management with organizations such as Goodwill Industries, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Susan G. Komen for a Cure. She has also owned several small businesses, along with being a frequent consultant and speaker for nonprofit, for-profit and government organizations.
