Dr. Brandon Hill grew up in South Africa as the child of Free Methodist missionaries. He completed undergraduate work at Greenville College in Illinois, and received an M.A. in Education: College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University in California. Dr. Hill completed a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University in Missouri with a dissertation studying the effects of social climate on male living-learning communities within Christian college residence halls.

Dr. Hill has experience in college admissions, financial aid, residence life (serving as a residence director for seven years), student conduct, student government, student activities, student organizations, and student engagement and retention.

Dr. Hill has served at Greenville College, Point Loma Nazarene University and Indiana Wesleyan University in Student Development roles. Dr. Hill has taught courses at all of these institutions as well as taught masters students at Azusa Pacific University.

Dr. Hill is a StrengthsQuest educator and trainer and frequently consults with colleges and universities around the country. Dr. Hill also consults on the topics of first- and second-year seamless curriculum and the creation of learning communities within the university curriculum.
