Andre Payne is currently serving as the assistant professor of marketing at Indiana Wesleyan University. He began his career in sales management before transitioning into higher education back in 2010. Since then he has been able to acquire a unique combination of experiences within higher education, which includes academic advising, marketing, fundraising, and instructional design. Prior to his current role, he served as the Director of the Taylor Fund at Taylor University where he led a team in annual fundraising/marketing. Andre is currently in his third year of doctoral studies where he is pursuing his PhD in Organizational Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University. He is passionate about ensuring his students understand how the holistic approach to learning can help them achieve in every field of human endeavor. It is this desire that has brought him into a career in Christian higher education. Andre considers his amazing family to be one of his greatest accomplishments, which includes his wife (Eleese), daughter (Nevaeh) and dog (Prince). In their spare time, they enjoy reading, exercising, traveling, community service and committing their lives to serving God’s Kingdom.
