Biography
Dr. Stofer serves as an online instructor for the primary care master’s nursing program in National & Global School of Integrated Health. Dr. Stofer received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2015 from The Ohio State University. She obtained her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Ashland University in 2019.
Dr. Stofer currently practices as a nurse practitioner in pediatric primary care. Previously, she worked at another pediatric office and a convenience care clinic. In the past, she filled a few adjunct faculty roles with a small private university. She is credentialed as a Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Amy resides in Mansfield, Ohio with her husband and three children. They have two dogs and one cat. Her husband is an alumnus of IWU. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially taking her children on new adventures. She loves being outdoors, swimming in her family’s pool, reading novels, going on hikes, and jogging.
