Biography

Dr. Springer has been a professor at IWU since 1990. He has 17 years experience as a senior pastor, minister of Christian education and minister to children. Dr. Springer is married and has two daughters. With his wife, Gen, he is involved in many local church ministries. His daughter, Michelle, has served as a counselor at Taylor University, and his daughter, Janae, serves on the staff of a local church.

Interests

Springer has spoken at many leadership-training events, camps, and conferences for children, youth and adults. He has been actively involved with several parachurch organizations. He is particularly interested in inner-city missions and served as director of an inner-city ministries organization in Kansas City. He has participated in mission trips to Guyana, Barbados, Antigua and Mexico. In 2002, he served as an adjunct professor at Christian Evangelical Wesleyan College in Russia.
