Biography

Corey and his wife, Brittani, have been married for 6 years. They were blessed with their first child, Bryar, in August of 2016.

Corey has served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT with the Summitville Fire Department for the past several years, and grew up surrounded by firefighters and EMS personnel.  This is what sparked his interest in emergency medicine and trauma care.

Corey first became a registered nurse in the spring of 2009, and immediately began working in the Emergency Department of Community Hospital Anderson where he has served has both a staff and charge nurse. In 2012, Corey moved to Washington DC where he worked with the wounded warrior project at Army-Navy Medical Center. Most recently, he has been working as a nurse practitioner at Community Hospital Anderson’s level III Trauma Center.
