Matthew J. Mize

Biography

Professor Matthew J. Mize is a CPA and attorney licensed in the state of Indiana. He holds a bachelor's degree, a master's degree, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree. He has worked in public accounting, industry, and higher education, both in financial and legal capacities, and enjoys both areas. He believes in lifelong learning and encourages his students to be lifelong learners.

Interests

Professor Mize's scholarship interests are in the areas of new business formation and development. He would like to start an incubation system that is different from the traditional incubator. He is also interested in starting programs for students to get involved in tax work for the poor and elderly and a program of working abroad with developing countries and business.
