Lisa Willey joined IWU May 2020 as an assistant professor for the occupational therapy assistant program. Lisa received her associate degree in Occupational Therapy from North Education Center, Columbus, OH and her Master’s degree from Ashland Theological Seminary in Practical Theology and Worship Music. Lisa earned her Doctorate from Portland Seminary in Semiotics and Future Studies.

Lisa has more than 35 years of experience as a general occupational therapy practitioner working with neurological, cardiac, pulmonary, pediatric, orthopedic and mental health conditions. She has worked with clients ranging from infancy to senior adult.  Lisa has over 3 years teaching experience in an occupational therapy assistant program, and over 5 years of teaching ministry courses, as well as serving numerous students for more than 30 years as a fieldwork supervisor.

Lisa also brings to us a diverse background in ministry and has pastored for over 25 years.  She has served in the areas of Youth Ministry, Pastoral Care, Christian Education, Discipleship, Missional Outreach, and Pastoral Counseling.  Lisa treasures her dog Molly that she cares for and her brother Mark is Molly’s full-time sitter. while she spends time at IWU-Greenwood campus. Lisa enjoys spending time and laughing with her family and friends, playing games and cards, traveling, baking and cooking.
