Biography

Mrs. Marcie Wilson was raised in Lynwood, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Jackson State University, Jackson, Mississippi and a Master of Public Administration from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. She also has Certifications in Non-Profit Management, Training and Development, and Human Resource Management. She joined the Indiana Wesleyan family as an adjunct faculty member in 2006 and teaches onsite at the Merrillville Campus and online. Mrs. Wilson serves as Staff and Volunteer Coordinator for Temple of Glory, International in Chicago, Illinois. She also serves as the social media coordinator and brand manager for Mars Hill Baptist Church. In October of 2016, she published Journey to Love, a manual on how to use positive thinking and communication to transform relationships. Mrs. Wilson also has her own weekly Christian blog called A Fresh Wind designed to promote positive thinking.  She has been married to Pastor Fredrick Wilson of Temple of Glory, International for 19 years. They have two beautiful children, Fredrick, III, a freshman at Ball State University, and Kya, a junior in high school. Mrs. Wilson says that her family is her foundation.
