Kay Alter – Director of Advancement Services
Kay Alter is the Director of Advancement Services. The role of Advancement Services is to provide support and information to all facets of University Advancement. Primary functions include processing of charitable contributions and pledges to the University, donor acknowledgement, maintenance of database information, providing statistical, demographic and financial reports to measure various outcomes. Advancement Services also assists university departments campus-wide with information needs through distribution of lists, labels and reports.
Kay received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 and her Master of Science degree in 1996 both from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has been with Indiana Wesleyan for 21 years, 11 of those in University Advancement.
Kay and her husband Jeff reside in Marion and have two children - Jeffrey, 20 and Christi, 18, both 3rd generation students at Indiana Wesleyan.
