Whenever you bring two very different individuals together to write music, something original is bound to emerge. Connersvine is made up of Chris Wilson, the creative, artsy type, who always has new melodies running through his head, and Hunter Smith, an outgoing, energetic pro football player whose songwriting is defined by poetic lyrics. As different as they are individually, they have found their shared passion in worship.
Chris leads worship at Momentum Christian Church in San Diego, Calif. Hunter won a Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts and now plays for the Washington Redskins.

Rarely does a rock band combine explosive guitars with an intense longing for meaning. Jon Foreman and Switchfoot, however, yearn for something more than what pop-culture is selling. "If I'm content as an artist to write a hit song or have a platinum record, then I'll have failed a lot of my fellow human beings," says Foreman. "We have the best jobs in the world because we play music for a living and love doing it, but we didn't get into this to try and sell something. For us, it's about communicating and connecting with people on a different level." |
Melodic Christian pop/rock band Everyday Sunday hails from Columbus, Ohio, and born out of a hometown church youth group of which lead vocalist, Trey Pearson, was a member. Joining Trey are fellow mates Kevin Cramblet, Tyler Craft and Nick Spencer. “Our music is about God, life, relationships and emotions from a Christian perspective,” says Pearson. “Hopefully, it’s something people can relate to, music that will bring them joy, moments of reflection, and help them to think about their own life.” |
After a successful NFL career, Ken now serves with Athletes in Action, the athletic branch of Campus Crusade for Christ. He is currently the Director of Cincinnati Pro Ministry and serves as chaplain for the Cincinnati Bengals. Ken is the former National Director of Pro Ministry with AIA.
As young people increasingly look up to their sports heroes, they find many whose lives leave much to be desired. Our newspapers and TV sportscasts are filled with story after story of fallen heroes. Ken’s goal is to develop godly character and faith in professional athletes so they can have a positive influence on those whose lives are touched by sports.
