Study the Class Schedule, review your course needs based
upon your last student abstract, and work out a preliminary
schedule (See Schedule of Classes) before meeting with your
advisor. Do not place your course selections on the Registration
Form until you meet with your advisor.
Call ahead and make appointments with your advisor(s).
Meet with advisor(s) and once the advisor has approved
your course selections, place them in the proper area on
the Registration Form. List course number, section, course
title, meeting time, etc.
Get signature of each advisor. If you have more than one
advisor you need to receive the signature of all advisors.
Approval of the Art Department is necessary for non-art
majors registering for art classes. Art Department personnel
must initial the Registration Form.
Look on the bottom of your Registration Form. If you have
a "hold" from the Business or Student Development
Office, you will need to have this removed before you can
register.
Courses to be taken on CREDIT/NO CREDIT basis must be
identified at the time of registration or WITHIN THE DROP/ADD
PERIOD. Only full-time students are eligible and may choose
no more than one course per semester.
Overload (more than 16 hours) requires permission of the
Director of Records.
Check each item on your Biograph Sheet and Registration
Form for accuracy. To correct an item, simply mark through
it and write in the correct information. Sign the form.
Present your corrected Biograph Sheet and signed
Registration Form at the Records Office. Wait until your
classes are entered into the computer. Records Office personnel
will sign your Registration Form and give you a computer
printout of your classes. You may use this form to get the
proper books in the Bookstore.
