    Robert Vandall

    Robert Vandall and his wife, Karen, teach in their independent piano studio at home in New Philadelphia, Ohio. The Vandalls enjoy living on the edge of the dairy farm where Karen was reared.

    Mr. Vandall taught previously in community colleges in areas of group piano, music theory, music literature, listening, and directing choral ensembles.

    Mr. Vandall earned his B.M. in Piano Performance from Baldwin-Wallace College, and his M.M. in Piano Performance from the University of Illinois. His writing and arranging of piano education materials came directly from contact with his own students. Alfred Publishing Company is now his exclusive publisher.

    Mr. Vandall’s demand as a clinician has led he and his wife to present workshops in over 30 states. His compositions appear on many piano teacher organizations required lists. He holds Permanent Professional Certification as a member of Music Teachers National Association and is an active member of the Ohio Music Teachers Assocation. He also is past president of the Tuscarawas County Music Teachers Association, is an MTNA Foundation Fellow from Ohio, and is an active member of the Fortnightly Music Club of New Philadelphia, affiliated with the National Federation of Music Clubs. He and his wife are counselors of a Junior Federated music club. Mr. Vandall has appeared on MTNA national conventions as well as state convention programs in over 20 different states and he has directed large piano ensembles in several states.

    The Vandalls are the parents of two grown sons and enjoy being the grandparents of five grandchildren. They have been active in their church as musicians in the adult choir, directing choir, hand bell choir, teaching and serving on numerous committees.

  • Marilynn Ham

    Marilynn Ham

    Marilynn Ham is a nationally recognized sacred concert pianist, published arranger and college professor. She served on the music faculty at Barclay College in Haviland, KS from 1979-89 and has been an Associate Professor of Music and Artist-in-Resident at Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN since 1989. Mrs. Ham holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in piano performance.

    Marilynn is published by Lillenas Publishing Company, Alfred Music Publishing and The FJH Music Company. She has written twenty books of advanced sacred piano arrangements, one duet collection and two suites. Mrs. Ham teaches applied piano for Bethel College and offers concerts, chapel programs, workshops and master classes in schools and churches.   • Euni Rickey

    Dr. Euni Rickey

    Dr. Euni Rickey, director, is Professor of Music at Indiana Wesleyan University. She holds B.S. and M.A. degrees in Music Education and a D.A. from Ball State University in Performance/Piano Chamber Music and Accompanying. She teaches piano pedagogy,privateand class piano, as well as piano ensemble and senior seminar. This is the 9th annual IWU pedagogy conference Dr. Rickey has directed. She is a member of MTNA and has served on the board and as directory editor of IMTA. She co-chaired the IMTAstate conferenceat IWU in 2007. She is a member of the National Guild of Piano Teachers and is chairperson for the Marion area.

  • Kelly Freije

    Dr. Kelly Freije

    Kelly Freije, coordinator, recently completed her doctorate in Piano Performance at Ball State University. She holds an M.M. in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma, and a B.M. in Piano Performance from Western MichiganUniversity.She is an adjunct piano professor at Indiana Wesleyan University and maintains an independent piano studio at her home in North-Central Indiana. She has studied piano with Dr. Jane Magrath, Marvin Blickenstaff, Lori Sims, Dr. Silvia Roederer and Dr. Robert Palmer.
