Educators, clinicians, students, researchers and others in the nursing community can expect a thought-provoking event when we gather on the IWU campus in Marion, Ind., June 16-19, 2008.

A conference for celebration

During this three-day conference we will celebrate our Christian heritage and explore how it impacts every aspect of the way we teach, do scholarly work and practice nursing in our global society. Attendees can look forward to plenary addresses, research presentations, demonstrations of innovative instructional strategies and informal networking.

Nurses Christian Fellowship is collaborating with IWU and Eta Chi chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International to sponsor this timely and unique nursing conference.

Conference Objectives:

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore Christian foundations and worldviews in professional nursing.
  • Identify innovative teaching strategies for nursing education and practice.
  • Develop strategies for embracing culture when it comes to your own backyard.
  • Experience networking in a Christian community.

Contact Hour approval has been applied for through the Indiana State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the Commission on Accreditation of the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
