IWU to Have Three Graduations Dec. 13 Almost 1,200 students will receive diplomas in three graduation ceremonies Dec. 13 in Luckey Arena. It will be the first time IWU has had three graduations in December.
The graduations will be at:
Terry J. Woychowski, chief engineer of General Motors' full-size trucks, will speak at all three ceremonies. He has twice received GM's highest honor for his leadership in developing the Chevrolet Avalanche and Hummer H2. Woychowski is a former professor of mechanical engineering at Pensacola Christian College in Florida. In addition to the December ceremonies, IWU also has three graduations in April and two in August. As recently as 1987, IWU had just one graduation each year. The Dec. 13 graduation will bring to 2,584 the number of students who will receive IWU degrees in 2003. The total includes 468 traditional students and 2,116 APS students. |
