IWU to Host Alternative Halloween Party for Area Youths Indiana Wesleyan University will host a community-wide Harvest Party for preschool to middle school children from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 30 at the IWU Student Center. The party is held annually as an alternative to Halloween. There will be games, free candy and a costume contest for children. More than 100 IWU students will assist with the party, but parents are welcome to stay with their children. The Student Center is located on the west side of Nebraska Street, just south of 41st Street. Guests may park in any lot near the center, including College Wesleyan Church and Phillippe Performing Arts Center. The IWU Residence Hall Association will sponsor the Harvest Party. More than 1,900 of the 2,500 students on IWU's Marion campus live in residence halls. |
