Full-Time Chemistry Faculty Position

The Chemistry Department in the School of the Physical and Applied Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University invites applicants for a new full-time, single faculty position for either a biochemist or an inorganic chemist beginning in the fall of 2010, pending funding. The ideal candidate would be able to teach upper level coursework in their major field as well as general chemistry and non-majors courses. We seek a candidate who is also committed to building and sustaining an active program of undergraduate research. Rank and compensation are determined by education and experience. Candidates for this position must have an earned doctorate in either biochemistry or inorganic chemistry and an active, growing Christian faith. A commitment to teaching excellence within a Christ-centered academic community is essential. The prospective faculty member should be willing to work collaboratively as part of our vibrant School of the Physical and Applied Sciences of 36 full-time faculty members.
