Full-Time Biology Faculty Position
College of Arts and Sciences

The Department of Biology in the School of the Physical and Applied Sciences at Indiana Wesleyan University invites applicants for a new full-time biologist faculty position beginning in the fall of 2010, pending funding. Rank and salary are dependent upon educational qualifications and experience. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Candidates for this position must have an earned doctorate in the Life Sciences and be capable of teaching courses in microbiology. We seek a candidate who is also committed to building and sustaining an active program of undergraduate research. Candidates whose research interests are more environmentally oriented will be given priority. A commitment to teaching excellence within a Christ-centered academic community is essential.

The Biology Department at Indiana Wesleyan University has eight full-time faculty members, a strong commitment to high quality, academically-rigorous teaching and a solid tradition of undergraduate research. The prospective faculty member should be willing to work collaboratively as part of our vibrant School of the Physical and Applied Sciences of 36 full-time faculty.
