Indiana Wesleyan University is seeking Christian professionals to guide and develop adult students in Christian character, scholarship, and leadership.

Qualified candidates will possess a master's degree in the specific content area. Candidates must have a minimum of a master's degree with a doctorate preferred for Master’s programs. Candidates must also possess strong work-place experiences, ability to facilitate adult learning, and have a vital personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Sampling of Courses:

1. Introductory and Practical courses: Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Corrections, Modern Policing, Youth and Crime, Forensics.

2. Theoretical Bases: Criminology, Criminal Procedure, Criminal Law, Court Procedure, Constitutional Law / Civil Liberties.

3. Homeland Security: Introduction to Homeland Security, Terrorism andCounter-terrorism, Risk Analysis and Security, Disaster Preparedness, and Command and Control/Emergency Leadership.

4. Specialty Courses: Crisis Intervention, Diversity in Criminal Justice, Ethics.

5. Research Methods / Analysis in Criminal Justice

6. Principles and Colloquium

Qualifications

Ideal:

Doctorate in criminal justice, law, sociology, homeland security or similar fields, criminal justice/police experience.

Preferred:

Master’s degree in criminal justice, sociology, homeland security, or similar fields; police, court system, or prison system experience.

Qualified:

Master’s degree, bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or 9 graduate hours in the aforementioned areas, significant experience with police, court, or prison systems.

Associate of Science in Business& Associate of Science in Accounting:   Associate of Science in Business & Associate of Science in Accounting: IWU needs Christian professionals who are willing to accept the challenge of guiding and developing adult learners as agents of change. Candidates should have a minimum of 9 graduate semester hours in a computer-related field plus at least 5 years of business experience in a computer-related career. Candidates with a Master's degree or Doctorate combined with practical experience in the computer field are preferred. Any candidate is expected to possess a solid level of technological ability in at least one category of programming, database, or networking. They must have good communication skills, particularly written skills, knowledge of adult learning theory, and a genuine love of interacting with other professionals in an asynchronous online learning environment. Candidates should be doctorally qualified with a minimum of five years K-12 teaching experience. They must possess a functional level of technological ability, good communication skills, in-depth knowledge of current educational best practice, and a genuine love of interacting with other professionals in an asynchronous online learning environment. IWU seeks online facilitators who would be able to adapt their teaching style to reach working adult professionals in their classes and are excited by the prospect of integrating personal faith and learning. Registered Nurse -- Bachelor of Science:   Nurse educators who are interested in serving at a Christian university, and who have educational background and clinical experience in the area of the adult health, are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching and clinical work. He/She would be joining a baccalaureate program that is approved by the Indiana State Board of Nursing (ISBN) and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The successful candidate will be committed to Christ-centered education for world-changing nursing practice and be comfortable with the Wesleyan-Armenian theology. Preference will be given to doctoral candidates, but a master’s degree is required.
