U.S. Department of Education Requirements

To be eligible, you must...

• be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen,
• be registered with the Selective Service (if required),
• attend a participating college,
• be working toward a degree or certificate,
• be making satisfactory academic process,
• not owe a refund on a Federal grant or be in default on a Federal education loan, and
• have financial need (except for Unsubsidized Stafford Loans).
