WHAT WE BELIEVE

God is self-existent, creator of heaven and earth, and of all mankind. He is the only true God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three in one.
Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the Word incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified and died on the cross to atone for the sins of Man. He was resurrected, ascended into Heaven, and is the mediator between God and Man.
The Holy Spirit is Comforter to the believers. He convicts people of sin and leads them to repentance. He abides forever with believers, leads them into the truth, and sanctifies them.
The Bible, consisting of sixty-six books, is inspired by God. It is the perfect truth, it changes not, and is the sole basis for doctrine and deed.
Man is created by God according to His image, and is depraved because of sin. Man must be born again by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ unto salvation and remission of sin in order to enter into the kingdom of God.
The Church is the body of Christ, who is its head. The Church is the family of God, consisting of all born again Christians.
Jesus Christ shall come again to establish the eternal kingdom. On the last day, all men shall be resurrected, the believer resurrected unto eternal life, the unbeliever resurrected unto eternal destruction.

The Mission of our church is to make God-loving and compassionate disciples of Jesus Christ among all nations.

As we commit ourselves individually and corporately to the mission of our church, we ask God to use us to impact the world around us for His glory.

These values are to be held in high esteem at Muncie Chinese Christian Fellowship.

1. Christ’s Headship: We acknowledge Christ as the head of our church. (Col 1:17-18)

2. Biblically Faithful: We strive to teach God's Word with integrity and authority to help individuals find Christ and live as his disciples. (Col 1:28; 2 Tim 3:16-17)

3. Authentic Worship: We desire to acknowledge God's supremacy in our personal lives and in the corporate, contemporary and blended worship of our church. ( John 4:23-24)

4. Grace Oriented: We focus on God's free acceptance and full forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ. We strive to motivate people through love and thankfulness to God without an undue emphasis on guilt, shame and duty. (1 John 4:7ff)

5. Dignity of People: We seek to treat each person as God's image bearer, so that every person who comes into our community will feel respected and treated with dignity. (Gen 1:26-27)

6. Culturally And Seeker Sensitive: We try to adapt our ministry of the Gospel to the diverse background of people that God brings to us. (1 Cor 9:19-23)

7. Relational Focus: We emphasize healthy relationships among Christians. We will focus on fellowship and small groups as the primary means of caring for each other, developing friendships, and sharing of our lives. (1 John 1:7)

8. Family Affirming: We strive to strengthen the families in our church community. We want to support and encourage the children, youth and single adults among us. (Eph 5:21-33)

9. Mobilized Church Community: We desire to see every person in our church actively using the spiritual gifts that God has given them.(Eph 4:11ff)

10. An Evangelistic Lifestyle: We deliberately encourage our people to share the Gospel message to those around us through our lifestyle as salt and light and through using intentional evangelistic tools and methods.(2 Tim 4:2)

11. A Heart for Missions: We strive to continue to broaden our world view by praying for and bringing the gospel message to other parts of the world. (Mt.28:18ff)

12. A Holistic Ministry: We seek to serve the spiritual and physical needs of the community in which we are located. (Luke 4:18)
