Meal Plan Options

As a boarding student, you will have the choice of three meal plan options. Each provides a varied menu and includes unlimited servings.
  • 23 meals per week - includes 4 late night meals (Monday through Thursday only)
  • Block 200 with 100 bonus points - 200 meals per semester with a $100 declining balance account
  • Block 120 with 150 bonus points - 120 meals per semester with a $150 declining balance account
  • Block 150 with 275 bonus points - 150 meals per semester with a $275 declining balance account

Each meal plan option provides a varied menu and includes unlimited servings in the Baldwin Dining Room as well as the Conversion Meal Option . . . which entitles boarding students to take meals in the Wildcat Express

Special Notes on the above meal plans:
  • Students may not change meals plans after the formal Add/Drop period determined by the University.
  • Freshmen will be required to choose either the 23 Meals per week plan, or the 200 Block/100 Point plan.
  • Each entry into the Cafeteria will constitute a meal used for the week/semester, for all plans.
  • Students may use block meals for guests. Meals for the 23 Meal Plan may only be used by the students themselves.
  • Points unused from Fall Semester will transfer to Spring Semester, but not to May Term, or to the following year.
Flex Accounts or "Bonus Points"

In addition to any of the meal plans mentioned, you may establish a declining balance account for use in either the Cafeteria or the Wildcat Express.  These accounts may be purchased by resident or non-resident students, as well as faculty and staff.

Flex Accounts are available in the following levels:

Cost

   Purchase Power
$25.00 $25.00
$50.00 $50.00
$75.00 $75.00
$100.00 $125.00 * (25% discount)

After submitting a deposit, you may access your Flex Accounts by presenting your college ID. Any balance remaining at the end of the first semester will transfer to the second semester; however, no balances will carry beyond the end of second semester. These accounts may be purchased from the food service office.

Conversion Meals

If you have a conflict with a meal hour, or would prefer to eat a meal in the Wildcat Express, the conversion meal may be the way to go!

Conversion Meals are offered as an alternative to eating in the dining room during regular meal hours and are available Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 9:00pm.

Conversion Breakfasts are available from 8:30am until 10:00am.  Two choices will be offered, for example:

  • Bagel with cream cheese
  • One piece of fresh fruit
  • Cup of yogurt
  • 10oz fruit juice

For Lunch and Dinner (10:00am until 9:00pm), the conversion meal option offers a choice, or choices in each of these five featured areas, and would rotate on a weekly basis.

  • An entree - slice of pizza, two tacos, a 6: sub, etc.
  • A side dish - garden salad, bread sticks, refried beans, French fries, etc
  • A small dish of frozen yogurt
  • A 20 oz. Fountain beverage
