Assessment Council

Purpose & Objectives

  • Ensuring that all educational programs have a quality assessment plan in place including procedures for implementing the plan.

  • Reviewing summative reports of program assessment information to identify strengths and areas of concern.

  • Setting guidelines for assessment procedures for all educational programs (majors)

  • Approving policies and procedures as they relate to assessment of educational programs which will be forwarded to Academic Affairs.

  • Serve as a clearinghouse for assessment materials and academic processes; e.g., surveys.
