Tim Bowman joined Indiana Wesleyan University in 2006. Tim has had experience in both for-profit and nonprofit business models. He began his career working for Northwestern Mutual as a financial representative, concentrating in the area of investment and insurance planning. Tim also had the opportunity to work in the community relations department at Focus on the Family. Most recently, Tim worked as a Retirement Consultant for AG Financial. His consulting with nonprofit institutions involved implementing and administering retirement plans. He has traveled to various institutions, presented retirement plans, and advised individuals in the development of stewardship strategies.

Tim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Tim grew up in upstate New York, and was a member at Gates Wesleyan Church. Tim and his wife, Rachel, currently reside in Marion, IN, and attend Church at College Wesleyan.
