Recreation and Wellness Center
With 117,500 sq. ft., the Recreation and Wellness Center is the largest structure on campus. It includes a six-lane, short-course competitive swimming pool with one-meter diving area, four racquetball courts, an intramural activity center containing three basketball/tennis courts and two batting cages, a free-weight room, a fitness room, an elevated, 3-lane 1/10 mile walking and jogging track that circles the intramural center, a state-of-the-art athletic training center, and a 25-foot climbing wall. It also houses 14 separate locker rooms, seven classrooms, a physical laboratory area, and the athletic offices.

The RWC is one of IWU's award-winning buildings. At the 2000 annual meeting of the Indiana Associated Builders and Contractors, IWU and its architect were given ABC's Award of Honor for design excellence in the renovation and expansion work performed on this structure.
