Noggle Christian Ministry Center spire
The Noggle Christian Ministry Center opened in 1984. It was named in honor of Howard and Marie Noggle for their combined 100+ years of committed service to IWU. Howard is still a staff member for IWU, serving as Special Assistant to the President.

The unique Christian spire that extends 64 feet into the sky above the roof of Noggle Center has become IWU’s most distinctive icon. The spire’s unique shape and uplifting motion symbolizes the heart of IWU - to glorify God through our service to His Son, Jesus Christ.

The peak of the stainless steel cross ascends to 75 feet, 4 inches above the campus grounds making it the tallest structure on campus.

IWU’s wordmark incorporates the Noggle Christian Ministries Center spire in its design. If you look closely you will notice the spire has been added to the letter “i” in the center of “Indiana”.
